Your Role:
As a cook, you will:
· Cook a variety of Asian dishes following Wok Box’s recipes and standards.
· Prepare dishes that accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-friendly options.
· Coordinate and oversee other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
· Monitor the overall functioning of the kitchen to ensure efficiency and quality.
· Assist with inventory management and take note of restocking needs.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Follow Wok Box’s food presentation standards to ensure attractive and appetizing dishes.
· Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
· Participate in training sessions to share cooking skills and knowledge of Asian cuisine.
What We’re Looking For:
· Secondary education is an asset.
· Training in cooking and food safety is preferred.
· 1+ year of prior experience in a related position
· Attention to detail and precision in dish preparation
· Time management and efficient handling of kitchen tasks
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required by the restaurant’s schedule
Salary: $16/hour for a 40-hour work week
