Ramada Jackson’s Point Resort & Spa is looking for a Kitchen Helper!

About us:

With over 800 hotels across 63 countries, there’s bound to be a Ramada nearby. Each hotel is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, whether you’re exploring the local sights, or staying in for a meeting or convention. Casual dining options are available, as well as meeting and event facilities. We are urgently seeking housekeepers and welcome interested individuals to join our team.

Position: Kitchen Helper

Work Location: 49 Lorne St, Jacksons Point, ON L0E 1L0, Canada

Wage: C$18.50 per hour

Vacation: 10 days of vacation per year

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Language requirements: None

Duties:

·         Wash and prep vegetables and fruit for buffet service.

·         Keep work areas, including counters, cabinets, and utensils, clean and tidy.

·         Manage trash by emptying bins, cleaning containers, and following hotel disposal procedures.

·         Organize and store ingredients and supplies in refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas.

·         Wash and sanitize dishes quickly and store them in the kitchenware area.

·         Assist chefs and kitchen staff with meal prep, service, and kitchen operations.

Your key Responsibilities:

·         No education or prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.

·         Ability to follow instructions.

·         Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
