Apprentice Carpenter

Oriental Development Ltd. is located in Victoria, BC. We are now looking for 2 qualified Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.

 

Position:                             Apprentice Carpenter

Wage:                                C$ 31.00-36.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Working Hours:                   30-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)

Vacation Pay:                      4% of gross salary

Terms of Employment:        Full-time, Permanent

Work Location:                   204C- 3690 Shelbourne St, Victoria, BC, V8P 4H2

Job duties:

·        Assist in interpreting blueprints and preparing layouts.

·        Learn to measure, cut, and assemble construction materials.

·        Support building walls, roofs, and subflooring.

·        Help install doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.

·        Participate in repairs, and maintenance projects.

·        Work under experienced carpenters to develop skills.

 

Requirements:

·        Completion of secondary school.

·        Experience is an asset.

·        On-the-job training will be provided.
