Taste Cafe is now hiring a full-time Cook for a permanent position

 

Salary: $15.20/Hourly

Job Type: Full-Time, 30hrs/week, Full-time/Permanent

Position Available: 1

Benefit: 4% of gross salary for vacation or 10 days paid vacation

 

Main duties:

•                Prepare and cook Korean rice bowl, poke bowl, and sandwich in the menu

•                Prepare sashimi, meat, vegetable, and special sauce

•                Clean kitchen and work area

•                Maintain inventory, safety, and records of food, supplies, and equipment

•                Ensure operation level of profitability and client satisfaction

•                Determine size of food portions and estimate food cost and requirements

•                Implement training staff if necessary

 

 

Requirements:

•                Completion of Secondary School

•                Minimum 1 to 2 years of commercial cooking experience OR Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of college or other program in cooking

•                English is required

•                Japanese/Korean cooking experience is to be preferred
