Position: Logistics Vice-President
Wage: C$60.00 – C$80.00 Per Hour
Working Hours: 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year

Highlights of What You’ll Do:
· Define clear objectives to drive the company’s growth and align logistics operations with WPIC’s corporate vision.
· Formulate and approve policies, programs, and operational strategies to achieve organizational goals, ensuring alignment with market trends and client needs.
· Lead the establishment of critical departments and senior leadership roles, ensuring a robust organizational structure to support business expansion.
· Define reporting lines and collaboration frameworks to enhance efficiency and accountability across teams.
· Strategically allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement company policies and ensure optimal logistics performance.
· Oversee budget planning for logistics operations and approve investment in technology and infrastructure to enhance service delivery.
· Design comprehensive personnel strategies, focusing on the recruitment, training, and retention of middle managers, directors, and executive staff.
· Ensure continuous professional development opportunities for staff, fostering a high-performing logistics team.
· Monitor inter-departmental collaboration to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for enhanced operational efficiency.
· Act as the company’s representative in high-level negotiations with partners, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring WPIC’s interests are safeguarded.
Must-Haves:
· At least 3 years of experience as a middle manager in the transportation business, including supervisory experience.
· Completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.
· Ability to collaborate with internal, external, and geographically dispersed teams.
· Aptitude for digital tool adoption and process building to enhance efficiency.
