Job Duties

·       Check formwork and granular base that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed

·       Level the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them

·       Water proofing, damp-proofing and restoring concrete surface

·       Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge

·       Operating a power vibrator to compress concrete

·       Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete and/or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish

Additional Requirements

·         No formal education required

·         Some previous experience is an asset, On the job training will be provided

·         Language requirement- English
