Oriental Development Ltd. is located in Victoria, BC. We are now looking for 2 qualified Landscape Horticulturist to join our team.
Position: Landscape Horticulturist
Wage: C$ 24.00-30.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Job duties:
· Create landscape design plans and responsible for the actual construction work of landscape projects.
· Supervise the execution of the entire project, including communication and coordination with clients, contractors, and other horticultural professionals
· Responsible for planting, pruning, trimming, and weeding.
· Choose and arrange plants based on geographical location, climatic conditions, soil types, and client preferences. This includes selecting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other ground cover plants.
· Evaluate soil conditions and take measures to improve soil for promoting plant growth.
· Stay updated on the latest developments in horticulture, landscaping techniques, and plant species to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
· A relevant educational background will be considered an asset for admission
· 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred.
