Position Title: Livestock Worker

 

Job Responsibilities:

– Feed/water livestock

– Clean animal stalls/pens and barn

– General cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment

– Prepare animal feed

– Maintain/monitor animal health (includes grooming, hoof trimming, deworming, etc.)

– Assist in the general maintenance of the farm

Terms of Employment:

– Permanent and full time position

– 35 hours or more per week

Flexible Language Requirements:

– None/minimum English

– Workplace safety training/materials will be provided in worker’s identified language

– Translation devices available

– Co-workers speaking the TFW’s identified langauge available to assist with communication

Compensation:

– $18/hour

Work Setting:

– Farm, outdoors Skills Required:

– Completion of secondary/highschool

– Work experience not required (training will be provided on site)
